The next COP, number 29, will be in Baku, Azerbaijan, in November of 2024. Tunisia will be participating.

Many countries have committed to developing their clean and renewable energy potential, a crucial element of their plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. They aim to increase their renewable energy capacity by 2030 and 2050 and to diversify their energy systems to promote green energy. Tunisia, a signatory to the Paris Agreement, intends to set an example by presenting its national objectives in its Nationally Determined Contribution, aligned with the global goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C (Read more about the COP).
